Hyphen8 Highlights of 2025

And now breathe....

The end of our 13th year at Hyphen8 and this one has been no less challenging or rewarding than the previous 12!  What is interesting about looking back to the beginning of the year is that we set objectives and strategies but can never foresee exactly what is going to happen.  One thing is certain, each year is unpredictable and never boring.  I am slightly disappointed that I haven’t had a chance to write more blogs this year as it is something I love to do but that is a sign of what a busy year we have had.

Our Impact

At the start of this year we were proud and delighted to achieve our B Corp certification after committing to the rigorous assessment process – we did it!  As a company with a deep-rooted social purpose, this will help us to remain accountable for continuous improvement of our high standards of social and environmental performance.

Early next year, we will share our first ever annual impact report that is currently taking shape and has been a personal ambition of mine for some time.  It provides a vehicle for us to share some of the fantastic stories of the work that we do and the impact it is having on the nonprofits that we are proud to support.  Over 50% of our customers have now been with us for over 5 years - a testament to the relationships that we nurture through our values-led approach.  We never take them for granted.

We are delighted to have grown the number of impactful customer stories again this year and really do thrive on the positive feedback.  You can read our growing selection here: https://hyphen8.com/success-stories/

Through my own membership of the Specialist Volunteering Network (run by one of our long-term valued customers, Inspiring Scotland), it has been extremely rewarding to volunteer my personal time to help a number of small Scottish charities with CRM consultancy.  I highly recommend this to any executive that feels slightly removed from day to day delivery!

A brief look at our year

How lucky we are to be in a position to deliver transformational new ways of working for such a wide variety of nonprofits large and small, all with missions that inspire us.  2025 has been full of variety and exciting opportunities supporting organisations at different stages in their Salesforce journey.

Hyphen8 2025 in statistics

Here is a mere hint of what we have been up to this year:

  • Several Community Foundations entrusting us to deliver their fund, fundraising and grant management solutions based on many years of deep experience and understanding of what they need to address their challenges
  • A number of medical research funders choosing us to implement Salesforce following an established grant management solution announcing end of life
  • More public sector engagements with local councils and government departments working closely with the Salesforce Public Sector team to showcase how we have transformed grant management for Camden Borough Council and Greater London Authority
  • A sprinkling of smaller charities with smaller budgets looking for help to improve efficiency and save precious time using Salesforce
  • Guiding customers on AI readiness and delivering AI-assisted grant management processes that are shaving hours off grant assessment, due diligence and impact reporting admin – leaving humans more time to focus on relationships
  • Expanding and enhancing our range of licence-free solution accelerators designed to address common needs and complement native Salesforce

2026 is already filling up with some really exciting projects and interesting opportunities.  As we do every year, we will be looking back at how we can better serve the organisations that continue to put their faith in us.

Our People

Several new team members have joined us this year all bringing fresh talent and experiences and boosting our ability to meet demands.  Staff wellbeing and development remains a focus which can be hard when pesky human life challenges get in the way!  Our annual anonymous staff survey results this year were heart-warming and show that the vast majority of people do feel fulfilled, supported and part of something special.  We have had two in-person social get togethers this year which provided valuable time to bond and have some fun together - life is too short for it to be all about work!

Digital Revolution Awards - We're On the Shortlist - 2025

Can't forget to drop this in – for the THIRD time in a row we also won the Best Salesforce Partner to Work For at the Digital Revolution Awards (and highly commended for one of our customer impact stories)!

Reflecting on our huge achievements this year fills me with a great sense of pride.  I am grateful to my talented team who have worked so hard.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my fellow Director Dan and our delivery leaders Julia and Vai who share our commitment to do the right thing (and of course the ups and downs!)
