To coincide with International Women’s Day, Hyphen8 is delighted to be in a position to make a donation of £10,000 shared between 4 charities nominated by our staff.

One of our key values is to make a difference through our donations of time and money – it’s so important that we can give back to causes that are close to our hearts.

Smart Works provides high quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need. We love this initiative as a lack of confidence and experience can really hinder prospects in an increasingly competitive job market.

Pause works with women who have experienced, or are at risk of, repeat removals of children from their care. During lockdown, family dynamics have been challenged more than ever so it’s critical that people receive the support they need.

Women’s Fund for Scotland’s mission is to make grants to projects that encourage women’s growth, self-sufficiency and social economic equality across Scotland. Hyphen8 is proud to support many organisations in Scotland (our CEO’s family roots are Scottish) so these causes are close to our heart.

This grassroots federation works together to provide life-saving services to build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated. Instances of domestic abuse have never been higher due to the pressures of lockdown. The support and education from organisations like Women’s Aid are increasingly vital.
