Webinar: Form Design Best Practices

What to expect

Why is form design important?

Whether people are applying for funding, making a donation or reporting on a grant, an online form is often a key part of their experience. Getting that form right isn’t easy. We’ll be taking a look at why it is so important to create the perfect form, and sharing top tips on how to do that.

Our approach

We approach form design with a  user-led approach. We look at the customer’s needs alongside industry best practices to develop an application, monitoring, and donation forms that reduce barriers, improve accessibility and the data captured.

The good, the bad and the ugly

We will be looking at some great forms, as well looking at forms that have not worked so well. We’ll be discussing why the good ones have worked so well, and how the ‘not so good’ forms could be improved.

Our speakers

Angela Murray

She was previously Head of Programmes at Laureus Sport for Good, and an International Programmes Manager at Comic Relief so brings a wide-range of funding experience to the team. Angela has an incredible understanding of Service Design and has worked with a large number of customers in her time at Hyphen8.

She's a recent recruit to Hyphen8, having previously worked on the service design team at the UK's biggest funder, the National Lottery Community Fund. Kirsten was part of a team responsible for improving the design and usability of the Community Fund's application forms and processes. She started her career as a funding officer, so brings hands-on experience of grant-making.

Jodie Stanley

Jodie has over 8 years of experience working within the public sector in various different Service Design roles with a strong focus on user-centred design.
