Why use Service Design to shape funding programmes?

Join our Service Design Team for the first in a series of focused webinars

Wednesday 30th June | 4pm – 4:30pm

What we will be covering

What is Service Design?

Everyone is talking about it, but what exactly is it and why should funders consider it? We will share insights into how funders can transform processes and take a user-led approach.

Our approach

Our experienced service designers will explore how service design can improve grant application forms. We will share tips and examples of what makes forms inclusive and user-friendly

Success stories

We will be joined by a Community Foundation that we have recently helped to transform their grant application process. Hear the story of their experience and ask them questions.

Our Speakers

Angela Murray

Angela joined the Hyphen8 team last year as Head of Strategy and Impact after co-leading the Service Design Team at the National Lottery Community Fund. She was previously Head of Programmes at Laureus Sport for Good, and an International Programmes Manager at Comic Relief so brings a wide-range of funding experience to the team. Angela has an incredible understanding of Service Design and has worked with a large number of customers in her time at Hyphen8.

Jodie Stanley

Jodie has over 8 years of experience working within the public sector in various different Service Design roles with a strong focus on user-centred design. As a human centred designer at heart, Jodie is passionate about designing services that work for those most in need. She strives to alleviate the frustration that can arise out of poorly designed services, or services that have been created out of organisational need and convenience, rather than designed with the needs of users in mind.

Yvonne Campbell

Yvonne is a grant management and operations expert with over 18 years of experience in strategic development roles for a variety of organisations within the nonprofit sector. Since moving on as Senior Portfolio Manager at National Lottery Community Fund, she has been instrumental in the design and development of funding programme services including most recently, the British Science Association.
